Assignment #1 – Minimal Intervention, Personal Space, and Personalization
Students were asked to identify a problem with privacy, personal space, or personalization in the College of Architecture and Planning building. Their challenge was to design and construct a “minimal intervention” solution. This construction was to be at 1-1 scale with minimal materials such as paper and cardboard. Relevant quotes from the course readings were selected.
The design interventions were built and displayed throughout the building in February, 2010.
